Carefully remove the pack from the water and then check it for leaks. Heating in the microwave: Place the pack on a paper towel or on a paper plate in the microwave. Heat the Cold & Hot Pack at full power for 20 seconds. (Caution: If the Hot & Cold Pack puffs up like a balloon, immediately stop heating and wait for it to cool completely. Remove and discard the pack). Remove the Hot & Cold Pack from the microwave oven and check for leaks. Knead it gently to distribute the heat evenly. Application: Place the Cold & Hot Pack on the covered skin or wrap it in a cloth.
